Airports Nikola Tesla in Belgrade and Konstantin Veliki in Niš are planning to expand their terminals.

The new Airport Morava in Kraljevo is being adapted from a military airport to a civil one, with a part of the funding provided by Airport Nikola Tesla. The planned deadline for the construction of this airport is at end of this year. The planned worth of the reconstruction is approximately EUR 3 million. An estimated USD 1 billion will be invested in a concession based project involving the construction of a third terminal to be used exclusively by Air Serbia, while Terminal 1 will undergo reconstruction and a second runway will be built in, with a cargo centre and hotel nearby. The interested parties include Aratbec Holding, the Persian Gulf’s largest construction company, Greek based Copelouzos Group, Fraport, that recently invested in the Ljubljana Airport, and
the EBRD.
