In the end of 2021, we will definitely report a growth above seven percent and citizens can expect an additional growth on the back of the 2022 budget, if it is passed in the parliament,” Brnabic said ahead of a parliament session that should debate the draft budget 2022.She further said that next year, salaries would go up between seven and eight percent, while pensions would be increased by 5.5 percent. “We will also increase the minimum wage by 9.4 percent, meaning that from EUR156 at the beginning of fiscal consolidation, the minimum monthly pay will be above EUR300,” the prime minister stressed.Brnabic also said that over the past 12 months, 60,000 new jobs had been created, noting that during the coronavirus pandemic, the state had distributed to citizens and business entities more than EUR8 billion in three aid packages.
